DUBUQUE, IA—Premier Bank announced today a donation of $2,500.00 to the Grandview beautification fund. In light of recent budget constraints, the City of Dubuque cut funding to plant and maintain the annual Grandview Avenue gardens.

“We are very happy to be able to lend our support to the Grandview Beautification Project,” said Jeffrey Mozena, President and CEO of Premier Bank. “Grandview Avenue is the front door to our city and we take great pride in helping to beautify the community we serve. We encourage other area businesses to also consider this responsibility,” added Mozena.

“We appreciate the generous donation by Premier Bank,” said Gwen Kosel, beautification project spokesperson. “The planting and maintenance of lush and hardy perennial gardens along Grandview Avenue will allow the area to maintain the beautiful, iconic landscape that is enjoyed by Dubuque residents and visitors alike,” Kosel added.

Donations are tax deductible and can be made payable to the Community Foundation/Flower Fund. Donations are being accepted at any Premier Bank location (140 W 9th St. & Iowa, 1975 JFK Rd, or 2625 NW Arterial Rd.)—or online by visiting the project’s GoFundMe account: http://www.gofundme.com/tr9h3b7k. All funds collected will go to the payment of the project.
